How long do endorsements stay on a driving licence?

It is always worth knowing how long endorsements stay in your licence and how long you will have to declare them for. Each offence varies, please see below for the length of time each endorsement stays on your licence.

 

Drink Driving – this stays on your licence for 11 years from the date of conviction.

Drug Driving – this stays on your licence for 11 years from the date of conviction.

Accident offences – must stay on your licence for 4 years from date of the offence

Disqualified driving – must stay on your licence for 4 years from date of the offence

Careless driving – must stay on your licence for 4 years from date of the offence

Construction and use offences – must stay on your licence for 4 years from date of the offence

Dangerous driving – must stay on your licence for 4 years from date of conviction

Speeding – must stay on your licence for 4 years from date of offence
